KenUeno:TraditionalWesternmusicalvocalpedagogycorsetsthevoiceofavocalstudentintoaforeignparadigm.Inmyvocalpractice,Iampatientzero.Insteadconformingintoahistoricalparadigm,especiallyintoatraditiontowhichIcannotbelong,mypracticehasbeenbuiltfromdevelopingsoundsthatarenaturaltomybody.
艺术家自述：传统西方声乐教学法将声乐学生的声音塑造成为外来的范式。而在我的声乐练习中，我完全没有耐心去遵从。非但不是去顺从历史范式、特别是我无法归属的传统，那些对我的身体来说是自然的声音，才是我的实践赖以成立的根基。
